18th Nov: "The Mummy" launch event with life drawing class by AMC
To celebrate the new comic series from Hammer Films and Titan Comics, the Art Model Collective present a special 'The Mummy' themed and costumed life drawing session!
Featuring two models: Carla as the High Priestess of Anubis, and Manko as the Mummy Nebetah. Exclusive projections, special soundtrack! Drawing boards, tables and easels provided, some art materials available. As a special bonus we will have 30 copies of the Forbidden Planet variant of Hammer Comics "The Mummy, Palimpsest" #1, by Peter Milligan & Ronilson Freire, to give away to our artists!
It features an exclusive cover painting by famed horror movie poster artist Graham Humphreys, who will also be in attendance to sign copies of the comic. Life drawing class 18:30-20:30
hosted by Jason Atomic Followed by Q&A with writer Peter Milligan, music & drinks! Admission: £15
(chairs and drawing boards provided, some table spaces available). We'll have some free art materials for spontaneously visiting artists (but as always, please bring your favourite tools).
